Dr Ben Ariff is a Consultant Radiologist at OneWelbeck Heart Health, specialising in advanced cardiac imaging.
He completed his specialist training in general internal medicine, clinical pharmacology and radiology, providing him with a unique insight and understanding of cardiovascular imaging.
Dr Ariff is a Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College NHS Trust and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London.
He is subspecialised in cardiovascular CT and cardiovascular MR and works within a multidisciplinary tertiary environment.
Dr Ariff is a level 3 trainer in cardiovascular CT and MR as is a course director in accredited CT and CMR courses around the world. He has hands-on experience of most CT and MRI scanners optimising protocols and sequences to ensure, bespoke, world-class imaging across vendor platforms.
Personal Biography
Dr Ben Ariff undertook medical training at Charing Cross & Westminster and obtained MRCP before working as a clinical lecturer at St Mary’s Hospital and Pfizer, achieving his CCST in general medicine and clinical pharmacology and gaining experience in cardiovascular preventive medicine and cardiovascular drug development.
Dr Ariff went on to train in radiology at Charing Cross and Hammersmith obtaining his FRCR and CCST and completing his PhD combining cardiovascular imaging with computational fluid dynamics. He subspecialised in cardiac imaging and obtained level 3 accreditation in both cardiovascular CT (SCCT) and cardiovascular MR (SCMR).
