Dr. Eric Griffiths is a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon and the Surgical Director of the Heart Failure and Ventricular Assist Device program. He also serves as the Associate Program Director of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Utah. His research interests are focused on the long-term effects of single ventricle palliation, improving ventricular assist device outcomes, myocardial recovery, and transplantation. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of congenital heart disease including complex neonatal repairs, adult congenital heart disease, and cardiac transplantation.
